    Aidan Corey
    Age: 428
    Height: 7’
    Weight: 200
    Gender: Male
Species: Kitsune - they look human but for their triangular fox ears on top of their heads and one or more tails.
    Loyalty: Neutral

Appearance: Aidan is tall, medium boned, has good muscle tone and a medium olive complexion, short cinnamon-colored hair, with bangs that fall into sapphire blue eyes. He could be considered ruggedly handsome. His nose is a little crooked as it has been broken a couple of times. Two narrow, jagged scars form an "X" shape on his lower left cheekbone. Triangular shaped smoky blue fox-ears sit atop his head, just behind his bangs and he has five smoky blue tails with white tips. He wears Chinese style pants, a loose, comfortable shirt (usually white) a black vest and a bright red sash tied at his waist. Sometimes wears an ankle length tunic with hip to ankle length slits on the sides, over the shirt and pants. Jewelry includes a small, silver hoop earring in his left ear and a black braided cord with a small, red crystal charm worn around his neck.

Guild/Rank: wanderer, skilled swordsman, and mercenary/pirate

Personality: Aidan is dark, cynical, cold and tends to be impatient, but can be very charming when he wants to be. He is very calm and cold when he looses his temper. A loner, he doesn't have many friends and prefers to keep to himself. Sometimes he will be helpful and sometimes he won't, it just depends on his mood. He loves being out on the open sea, sailing his ship.

    Family

Mother: Maidelynne, healer/teacher, 560, deceased, blue kitsune
Father: Lochlainn, clan chieftain, 687, deceased, red kitsune
Siblings: Brennan Corey, male, scholar, 286, missing

Background: Aidan Corey is the oldest son of Lochlainn and Maidelynne and was born into the Koorime Clan in the Sierac Mountains. Like most Kitsune clans they tend to avoid other races, but had no trouble helping those who happen to get lost or stranded. Aidan has one sibling, Brennan. As the clan chieftain’s oldest son he was to take over when his father either retired or died, whichever came first. He didn't want to be clan chieftain, but wanted to explore the world and teach his clan's particular fighting style instead. He spent most of his time perfecting his fighting skill. He left at the age of 30, much to his mother's dismay, and returned 60 years later. When he was 125 his clan was attacked by Chaos. The clan fought Chaos of 15 years before their village was destroyed. Those who survived the destruction were either taken captive or killed. A few managed to escape into the forests and mountains and join other clans. Aidan was among those taken captive. While a prisoner/slave he grew hard, cold and bitter, coming to hate Chaos intensely. After a hundred years he managed to escape and return to his village to find what little was left of it abandoned. He searched for his family without success. After 20 years of wandering he finally settled in near the Silverwind clan and began teaching, but only stayed 60 years before growing restless and leaving. He traveled around and eventually ended up on a pirate ship and worked his way to helmsman. When the captain died in a fight he took over, much to the crew's annoyance, but he proved to be a shrewd captain. His ship, the Ebony Fox, is one of the more successful pirate ships.

Ten years ago he heard a rumor that his brother was alive, but not doing well and came to Shadowstar. He searched for his brother for five years and came across a nine month old silver tabby named Kohji. Together they found Brennan. Aidan took Brennan with him and returned to his ship, Kohji joined him and stayed aboard the Ebony Fox, for four years before returning to Shadowstar. Kohji was found by Gwen and has stayed with her ever since. Brennan and Aidan fought one night, which resulted in Brennan leaving. Aidan hasn't seen or heard from his brother in four years.

    Family
    Mother: Chloe Romano, homemaker/wife, 50
Father: Roland Romano, master smithy/inventor, 56
    Siblings:
    - Raoul, 25, male, master carpenters/architect (no idea what guild, if any )
    - Pierre, 25, male, master carpenter/architect,
    - Mireille, 14, female, artisan guild - apprentice (musician, plays the violin)
    - Qwentin, 10, male, smithy-apprentice

Background: Cecili was born in the ancestral family home in a river valley near Cascadia Falls. Her family is fairly well off, staff includes a cook/housekeeper and gardener. Her father, Roland, is a master smithy and an inventor, he's a bit absent minded and always tinkering with things. Sometimes his inventions work and sometimes they don't. Her mother, Chloe, is from an aristocratic family and is calm, vague and scatterbrained, but intelligent. She has older twin brothers, Raoul and Pierre, who work as carpenters and architects. She has a younger sister, Mireille, learning to play the violin and a younger brother, Qwentin, who is very curious and works with his father hoping to follow in his father's footsteps.

A bit of a wild child her parents didn't quite know what to do with her. Her parents tried different things but nothing kept her interest. One day, when Cecili was 12, the family had dinner at a wealthy neighbor's home with several other guests. The children wandered around the manor after dinner kind of bored. As they walked down a long hall, Cecili stopped to admire the paintings. After studying one for several minutes, she stated confidently that she could draw better than that. The other children teased her but her brothers dared her to prove it at the summer faire. Vincent Rogan, one of the guests and a master artisan, was viewing the paintings and overheard the dare. He was curious though, but doubted she was as talented as she declared herself to be. He had, however decided it wouldn't hurt to see how she did.

True to her word, Cecili presented a sketch that was better than the painting she had seen at the neighbor's manor. Her brothers both admired and hated the fact she had proved she was right. Vincent, the master artisan, was also surprised and decided she showed a lot of promise, then asked to see her parents. After talking to them he learned that Cecili had always sketched stuff and that her parents had never really taken her artistic talent seriously. They asked him if she really was talented and he responded that she had a lot of promise as an artist. He offered to take her on as an apprentice and after some discussion agreed to the offer. At first Cecili wasn't happy with this but as Vincent challenged her to do better and taught her how to improve her style she soon came to enjoy and work hard at it.

Cecili learned quickly and developed her own style involving light, but also enjoyed painting scenes of daily life. It didn't take her long to work her way from apprentice to wanderer and finally to master. She shares a small apartment in Cascadia with her sciuri and can often be seen on any of the streets painting or just people watching. She often takes jobs doing portraits and sometimes murals to support herself. She goes home to visit her family about once a month as she misses her younger siblings. Is helping her father with his research.

    Josie Zenobia Mercanti
    Age: 25
    Height: 5'
Weight: was 90 lbs when she was alive
    Gender: Female
Species: was an angel, is now a ghost.

    Loyalty: Neutral

Appearance: Josie is short and skinny but not particularly curvy. Was often mistaken for a young male child, much to her annoyance. She has a small heart shaped face with a pointy chin, small nose and small boned. Since she's a ghost people can see through her; kind of like looking through a foggy window. Her coloring is faded and translucent: her skin is a dead white; faded dark blue hair layered in a shoulder length cut that frames her face; and faded dark blue eyes. Clothing is mostly in shades of gray and blue, faded. Her wings are a faded dark blue with lighter blue feathers toward the tips. Clothing style includes: loose pants, clunky boots, and loose blouse under a tight leather bodice that laces up the back.

Guild/Rank: a wanderer messenger (something equivalent to bike messengers)

Personality: Bounces between mellow and morose and is far too curious for her own good which possibly resulted in her death. Tends not to let a minor thing, like death, stop her from having fun. Hates it when people mistake her for a child or worse a male child. Gets frustrated when she can't pick things up or falls through floors.

    Family
Mother: Alice Mercanti, 48 -- typical housewife, can't understand why her daughter had wanted to be a messenger.
Father: Nicolas Mercanti, 52 -- gruff and biased; according to him angels are the perfect race. He is a well off inn keeper.
Siblings: Marina Jun'ko 28 -- the perfect older sister (of course), got married has three kids and a good husband. (Josie was often compared to Marina.) Married to a merchant sailor, Riley Jun’ko.

Background: Josie grew up in an upper middle class family in Oceanica. Her parents run the Blue Dragon Inn, a nice inn with excellent food and clean rooms. Josie wasn’t like her sister, who was (of course, the perfect daughter, and loved the inn (and thrived on being an inn keeper’s daughter). No, Josie had bigger and better dreams. She wanted to be a fish and swim in the sea. This dream resulted in her diving into the bay and nearly drowning since she couldn’t swim. The incident nearly scared her parents to death and cured her of wanting to be a fish.

After that Josie decided she wanted to an explorer (after all explorers didn’t have to worry about drowning). She was often found exploring the inn, often disturbing paying customers. Some customers didn’t mind. Her mother however, did mind and tried to keep her out of trouble. When Alice couldn’t manage that she decided that she was never going to understand Josie and did her best to keep the damage to a minimum. Alice often wondered why Josie couldn’t be more like Marina, Josie’s older sister.

Josie never gave up her dream of being an explorer so at the age of fourteen began searching for an explorer’s guild, which she didn’t find. She considered joining the overland trade merchants, but thought wouldn’t be any fun and eventually joined with a messenger service. Her mother nearly died when Josie told her she wanted to join the messenger service. Her father thought it was a great idea (after all it would get her out of the inn). Her mother considered this and decided it might not be a bad thing after all and besides in a couple years Josie might decide she wasn’t cut out for messenger service and return to the inn. (A mother’s hope springs eternal.)

Josie loved the messenger service. At first she only delivered messages and packages around town. When she turned eighteen she was paired with an older messenger, Lucian Plum, and sent across country on horseback. By the end of their first circuit the older messenger was amazed they had managed to survive it. Everything that could possibly go wrong almost did go wrong and yet they managed to deliver their messages and pick up more deliveries. He didn’t volunteer to go with her a second time. So Josie was paired with Parmalee Montgomery, a former knight, for her second circuit. He found Josie’s misadventures amusing. He stayed her partner for the next three years and then she was (finally) sent out on her own at the age of 22 (a decision that gave the owner nightmares until she returned). She did okay with her usual amount of scrapes and misadventure (she met a kender who followed her for a while).

For the last three years she’s been on her own. On her last circuit Josie became engaged to a treasure hunter Galen Macaire, and isn’t quite sure how it happened. He followed her home and met her parents. Her mother had mixed reactions on this. She was glad Josie was engaged, but she thought Josie could do better (really, a treasure hunter?).

Two days after arriving in Oceanica Galen disappeared. Surprised and slightly annoyed Josie realized she didn’t know much about him. And since she was his fiancée it was her duty to find him (naturally). She had fun searching for him and riffling through his belongings. Two weeks after Galen had disappeared Josie found him in near the docks while she was shopping. She surprised Galen, and the archer who shot the arrow, by running up to him calling his name. She ran into the path of the arrow that slammed into her back and pierced her heart. Galen caught her and carried her to the Healer’s Guild but it was too late for her. The archer ran off realizing he’d hit the wrong person. Galen went into hiding, vowing to find whoever hired the archer to kill him. He owed Josie that much.

That night Josie woke up feeling dazed. Unsure of what exactly had happened she left the healer’s guild and went home. It wasn’t until she saw herself in her mirror that she realized something was wrong. Feeling a little freaked she smashed the mirror and hid from her family. What would they think of her in this state? She hasn’t quite figured out she’s dead or maybe she doesn’t want to admit it.

She never stopped to think about why she was a ghost. Several theories abound (especially among the inn staff). They believe she stayed because of true love. Her mother thinks Josie’s spirit stayed to annoy her and remind her that she had given birth to a strange daughter. Her father believes she’s too damn curious to move on to the next plane of existence. If someone had asked Josie she would probably have responded, “Why would I want to leave? There’s too much to see and do and experience! I want to see it all! Besides the other world might be boring. At least I KNOW this world is fun.”

    Brett Perry
    Age: 39
    Gender: Male
    Species: Human

Appearance: Stocky build, a bit overweight, likes to smoke cigars (really expensive cigars) and make lots of little reminder notes in a hard to decipher scrawl. Brett has black hair beginning to gray, a thick mass, longer than short, but not shoulder length, tends to stand on end as if Brett shoved his fingers through it one too many times (which he probably did). The gray looks like someone tried to highlight his hair in white.Clothing style is on the casual side, though he will dress up for special occasions or meetings. His shirt sleeves are often rolled up with the shirt untucked and unbuttoned to mid chest (showing a bit of chest hair), loose business like pants and sturdy shoes. Is often seen with a pen stuck behind his ear and a note pad in his back pocket.

Guild/Rank: Master Bard, specialized in Entertainment:

Personality: He is the man with the vision (not referring to psychic ability). He has trouble understanding the practical points to making his grand schemes work. He figures if one can dream it then one can make it. The problem lies in accomplishing such feats. Brett is more a dreamer than a doer, but he is very good at getting other people to figure out how to do what needs to be done. Though he mostly relies on his assistant/co-producer to make it happen. He knows how to charm and cajole, is good at reading people and good at directing just not good at applying logic to his schemes. If he did that the idea would probably die before he got to far with it. They're not bad ideas, just seem impossible to accomplish.

    Parents:
Father: Dugan Perry, Artisan Guild -- Master Weaver, died from a stroke two years ago, he was 76 at the time
Mother: Elara Perry, 70, Master Bard, composer. Writes music when mood strikes her. She lives in Oceanica.
    Siblings:
    Four brothers:
Malcolm, 45, master carpenter, resides in small village, often travels with his crew to do stuff. Is currently helping with remodeling the Artisan guild grounds. Married Isabella Russell they have three kids.
Scott, 42, has a vineyard near Oceanica, married Senara Casvelyan they have four kids.
Collin, 36, messenger- master, lives in Cascadia, married Corinna McNaulty; has a two-year-old daughter.
Patrick, 34, runs a pub, The Seacrest, in Oceanica, single.

    Two Sisters:
Brigit D'Arcy, 44, housewife, married Paul D'Arcy, a fisherman . They have two sons and two daughters, and live in Oceanica.
Tamsyn MacCavity, 32, wanderer healer, specializing in mind healing. Married to Brodie MacCavity, a master carpenter, has three children, lives in Cascadia.

    Other Familial Ties:
Married Pamela Derryberry, a city elf, when he was 20 and she was 210. They had two kids: a son, Casey, 16, and a daughter, Mona, 14. Due to the fact that Brett is a workaholic the marriage began to crumble. They tried to work it out for the kids sake but that seemed to make things worse. They divorced after eight years of marriage.

Background: Brett is the third of seven children born to Dugan and Elara Perry. His mother had hoped one of her children would be interesting in music, but no, not even Brett who was more interested in entertaining people. He was impressed with the way actors could tell stories and he knew that was what he wanted to do. His mother was thrilled when he wanted to join the bards guild. He was a bit impatient to get to the acting part and until his master told him what needed to learn to become an entertainer he didn't study very hard. Once his master gave him a goal to work toward he put forth the effort to learn what he was being taught.

He met Tony at the guild, somehow, in spite of their different personalities became best friends. Brett's enthusiasm and attitude can be addicting and his creativity is incredible, but he tends to ignore common sense. Whish is where Tony came in. Given time and proper motivation Brett could pull off interesting if not great things.

He met his wife as a wanderer and after a quick courtship, which her father did not approve of, they got married and had two kids. As sometimes happens when one is a workaholic the marriage grew cold and Brett found it hard to spend time with this children. Finally they decided it wasn't working and had the marriage dissolved. Ironically after the divorce, Brett found time to spend with his children. He shares custody of his children with Pamela. They worked out an arrangement for the kids. Brett has custody of them every other month. Pamela gets them the rest of the time.

Brett is now owner of an old manor house he turned into a mystery dinner theatre. Ever since he made his mastery at the Bard's Guild Brett has always wanted one to try this grand scheme of having dinner and entertainment at the same time. He spent several months and probably lots of money on remodeling the dilapidated manor. He figures it will be new enough and different enough to take care of the expenses and pay the actors and staff. But then he is terribly optimistic about things like this, though he does know that things could go wrong with his scheme. He still hopes for success.

He has a long fluffy tail and is, thankfully, an affectionate creature. He likes to watch Brett and sit on the man's lap, much to Brett's annoyance as the cat is heavy. His strawberry blonde hair is cut in a short, neat style, has medium blue eyes that tend to smile at the world, when their not scowling at one of Brett’s schemes. His hair starts out neat but by mid morning becomes disheveled and by afternoon often looks like it hasn’t seen a brush a few days. His elven heritage is evident in the pointy ears, and fair skin. His face is a long oval with a pointy chin. He tends to wear neat, business like clothing when working. Tends to look harried. Rarely dresses in a casual, comfortable clothing. In spite of stressful days and disheveled hair, his clothing usually remains neat, no matter how late or harried the day is. Granted his outfit will have a few wrinkles in it. In fact he has often been mistaken for the man in charge.

Guild/Rank: Wanderer bard (math and entertainment)

Personality: He is the calm practical type, is good at calming scared or hysterical women, has learned that polite and charming can get you far, depending on the person. He is patient (anyone dealing with Brett would have to be patient) and naturally neat. Though level headed he is also creative especially when it comes to helping Brett write plays, skits or choreograph movement or figure out financing. Is really good with numbers and tends to be loyal.

    Parents:
Dad: Gavin Boone, 600, master artisan - glassmaker, lives in Cascadia, teaches at the artisan guild
Mom: Caimile Boone 550, master mage- enchanter: weaver mage

    Siblings:
Ellery Boone, 300, male, master healer- fur healer, moved to Oceanica a few years ago.
Cassidy Boone, 170, male, wanderer artisan, hasn’t decided on a specialty yet.

Other Familial Ties: Married to Ianthe Kiefer, a city elf. He has two aunts living near Oceanica.

Background: Born as Anthony Boone he was called Tony as a child and somehow the nickname stuck through his teenage years to adulthood. Not many people know his first name is Anthony; everyone calls him Tony. Tony’s life was fairly ordinary not much exciting went on. He was sent to the Bard’s guild as his mother hoped he would become a musician since he had a good ear for music. Unfortunately he had a lousy singing voice. It was with considerable relief that he discovered mathematics and found he had a knack with numbers. He wasn’t that interested in discovering new math theories, but he did find a better way to do business math.

After several years of honing his math skills he grew bored with the studying and wanted to apply his bookkeeping/accounting skills in life. He didn’t try to earn a mastery, really wasn’t too worried about it. Some businesses wanted nothing to do with it, others were quite happy to learn how to do their accounting and often hired Tony to train one of their staff or a member of the family in that line. This went on for a few years. One day he woke up with the realization he didn’t want to do math anymore. So back to the bard’s guild he went. This time he wasn’t sure what he wanted to do just knew it wasn’t going to be science. His older brother dared him to try something exciting. Not being particularly interested in exciting things (well, not usually, odd how dares can change that, especially from an older brother). So Tony decided to try entertaining. To him acting, dancing, writing plays sounded exciting. It turned out to be a good choice, plus Tony found he liked it.

In one of his classes he met a young human with drive and passion. He had never met anyone that had the ambition Brett had. They didn’t become friends immediately but ended up working on a project for first day. Tony was surprised it actually worked, but somehow Brett pulled it off. After that they started hanging out together and have been good friends ever since. They started their own troupe and did skits as they toured the island. A couple ago they returned to Cascadia where he and Brett briefly went their separate was (business wise) after the troupe disbanded. Then one day Brett hit Tony up on his one of his ideas: a dinner theatre. It wasn’t the first time he had heard this idea, but Brett had never been able to afford to finance it before but now he could, apparently. Tony met a young city elf who had seen one of the skits and he Brett put on in one of the villages. He began courting her and after three years they got married. They have been married for five years.

    Mallori Corrigan
    Age: 26
    Gender: Female
    Species: Angel

Appearance: A tall, slender woman, Mallori has an oval face, pale skin, dark blue eyes usually lined in black kohl and dusted in smoky gray eye shadow with a touch of medium purple at the corners. Her black hair has randomly placed streaks of dark red and falls to the middle of her back. She often wears it in pigtails, but sometimes twists it into messy buns. Her bangs are neatly trimmed with a few loose strands left to frame her face. She favors dark red lipstick and often paints her nails in either black or red. She favors long skirts in black, dark gray, red and purple. Her tops vary between elegant, sexy bodices to simple shirts with long bell sleeves. She usually wears knee high boots with clunky heals and straps, over striped stockings in various colors (not at the same time of course). For jewelry she often wears chokers but also likes necklaces that resemble antiques and seem busy. Usually can be seen wearing elbow length fingerless gloves in lace, satin or the striped sweater type.

Guild/Rank: Master Artisan, specializing in painting, sewing and the occasional foray into lace making.

Personality: Mallori likes things neat and orderly. She cleans when she’s upset and has often offered to organize things for friends. She was a anti-social as a child and in her teen years. She won’t take crap from anyone and often got frustrated with her parents. She thought they were dumb and often wished they would just leave. She hated their fighting. She tends to respond with sarcastic comments when people state the obvious or say dumb things. The Romano family helped her get over some of her anti-social attitude, but she has no problem intimidating students or masters when she isn’t stressed out. She has a dry sense of humor and likes to do fun and crazy things to unwind from work.

    Family

Father: Yale Corrigan, 50, master archer, Wolf Asam.
Mother: Audrey Vaughn (formerly Corrigan), 48, master archer, former member of the Wolf Asam. She joined the patrol five years ago and is currently a journeyman who goes under the code name “Ace”.
Siblings: none (unless one counts the Romano family <.<)
Other Familial Ties: Mallori is related to Black Wynd on her mother’s side. Mallori and BW have the same great-grandfather.

Background: Mallori is an only child born to two angels who just couldn’t get along. They had an odd love/hate relationship and were often fighting; sometimes they even used weapons. Her mother had probably tossed every pot and pan (and probably any other utensil) at her father who had deserved it after he had insulted dinner or the fact that she had given birth to a daughter instead of a son. (Perversely if Mallori had been a boy he would have complained about her having a son instead of a daughter.). He was a contrary man and her mother was a stubborn woman. Mallori grew up thinking it was normal for couples to get into knock down and drag out fights, the way her parents did. Mallori was eight years old when her parents divorced. At first Mallori thought it was her fault, until her mother told her it wasn’t, but Mallori didn’t quite believe them.
Mallori spent the first two years after the divorce with her father who taught her some self defense skills. Mainly how to use a dagger and a longbow and a few hand to hand skills. She knows the basics and hasn’t really used any of them in years. Then her mother had her the next two years and tried to convince her to join knight’s guild. Mallori was twelve years old when she ran away from her mother. When her mother found her Mallori told her mother did not want to be a knight (especially since her parent were not good representatives of the guild) she wanted to be an artisan. Because there she could paint and learn to sew and other neat stuff. (She never considered the other guilds). Her mother was surprised and a little stunned. She had never considered the Artisan Guild before. Only the Knights’ Guild. After a week of thinking about it her mother took her to the Artisan Guild figuring anything was better than the thieves guild.
At the gangly age of fifteen, taller than most of her classmates, Mallori was invited to join a secret club unofficially known as the “Life and Death Brigade.” The idea appealed to her so she joined. It was fun, she met her best friend there. She was the short haired angry rebel with spiky black hair and Cecili was the disillusioned country girl with a high social status. The two became joined at the hip (figuratively speaking, of course) and Mallori was practically adopted by the Romano family. She did not know what to make of the close-knit cat anthro family. They were so lively and somewhat eccentric. She more or less fell in love with family.
Cecili showed Mallori how the other half lived when she drug her (not unwillingly) to social gatherings hosted by her grandmother. They tended to crash these parties (according to Cecili’s grandmother). When Mallori passed her wanderers test she and Cecili traveled the island together plying their skills. They met up with wanderer levels from other guilds and traveled with them. One summer Mallori and a couple of other women were captured by a couple of psychopaths and raped and tortured. Cecili and the remaining woman found them but were captured. Mallori watched her friends be cut up and raped. Cecili was stabbed when she tried to fight them.
Mallori was the next to be cut up when Pierre and Raoul, Cecili’s brothers, found them. They were too late to help the other three women. The twins got Cecili and Mallori out of the way then beat the psychos to death. They left the remains for wild animals to find. Mallori was depressed after that and wanted to kill herself or thought she did. Cecili was able to talk her out of it. They traveled with Cecili’s cousins, Tuppence and Bundle, for a couple years before they returned to the Artisan Guild mostly healed from the traumatic event. It isn’t something either of them will forget.
She passed her master’s test and helped out at the guild, teaching classes and started her own lingerie and clothing line on the side. A couple of years went by and Cecili was made guildmaster. Cecili then asked Mallori if she wanted the position of receptionist. Mallori considered it and then accepted the position. She has held the position for two years now. Recently she was stalked by a murderer from the old club and is recuperating from her injuries.

    Pets

    Pet name: Java
Species: Flaret (Niel gave it to her)
Pet description: Java is female and small for a flaret. She has reddish brown fur, white raccoon mask, dark feet. Burns bright red and orange.

    Charity "Tuppence" Eversleigh
    Age: 28
    Gender: Female
    Species: Cat Anthro

Appearance: She is short (standing 5' tall in her bare feet) and a slender small boned build with average curves. Her hair is a rich chocolate brown with lighter brown highlights with random streaks of moss green. It falls to the middle of her back in layers. She often wears it in two loose and slightly messy ponytails; random loose strands fall across and around her triangular shaped face. Her moss green eyes with slit pupils (like a cat's eyes) are almond shaped and often lined with black. Her furry cat ears (which poke out where human ears would be if she were human) are a dark chocolate brown as is her sleek furred tail. Creamy smooth skin contrasts nicely with the dark brown colors. She prefers loose comfortable clothing in dark and dull colors, black is a favorite color, and often pairs lace fingerless gloves with her otherwise practical clothing. Charity does not wear much jewelry, preferring gold hoop earrings and simple cord necklaces with or without various charms in dull colors. She owns several tessens but only carries two with her and has a pair of throwing knives strapped to her knee high boots. Like Temperance she can dress to the nines when she chooses to or if the con requires it.

Guild/Rank: freelancer thief; light purple (intermediate) level psychic, whose talents lie in telepathy and telekinesis.

Personality: Unlike her outgoing twin, Charity is a quiet thoughtful woman with a mischievous streak. People are often surprised when she does something a little crazy. She comes across as serious and detached as if the worlds problems do not matter to her. She tends to be a little morbid at times. She has no problem picking up a book and reading it while sitting a table with other people. Her mother used to chide her about the rude habit. She has no problem talking to people but is not going to start a conversation with a complete stranger. Like Temperance she loves life and having fun, doesn't want a normal job as that would be boring. She does not like working for someone preferring to be her own boss with the freedom to go where she pleases when she pleases, which has gotten her into trouble on occasion. She has no problems taking things that belong to other people or conning them out of their treasured items. (The ones she wants anyway.) She is fiercely protective of her family and those she considers family. She and Temperance are very close.

    Family

Mother: Virginia Eversleigh nee Romano, wanderer bard, soprano singer
Father: Stephen Eversleigh, who owns a dairy farm near a village
    Siblings:

  • Prudence, female, 33, married to David Montgomery, four kids (two boys and two girls)
  • Clemency, female, 32, married (twice) -- currently to Jason Cauley, three kids (one daughter and two boys)
  • Faith, female, 30, married to Derek Sinise, five kids (three girls and two boys)
  • Temperance (Charity's twin), female, 28, single, no children
  • Humility, female, 25, divorced, two daughters
  • Patience, female, 22, married to Malcome Reynolds, one son
  • Merci, female, 18, single, no children
  • Justin, male, 18, single (Merci's twin)

  • Other Familial Ties: Charity has numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. Virginia is Roland Romano's younger sister.

Background: Charity is the older twin in a large family, three older sisters and four younger sisters (counting her twin) and one younger brother. Her father owns a dairy farm in a village near Oceanica. It wasn't until Temperance and Charity were two years old that anyone noticed they had psychic abilities. Their parents were not sure what to do about that. But they seemed okay, except for the occasional floating dish or toy. When they were four Charity threw a temper tantrum because her older sister, Prudence told her she had to stay inside since she was sick. Charity mentally flung her bowl of soup at the older girl, she wasn't quite aware of what she was doing. Silence reigned after that and the two girls just stared at the bowl. Charity touched it cautiously as if it would jump. Prudence later told their mother about the event. The idea of flying dishes scared Charity. She did not like the idea of randomly flying objects.
The family learned to be more careful around the twins after that. Life went on. Charity had noticed that she could sometimes "hear" peoples thoughts, but she only caught snippets here and there. When she was ten years old her favorite cow died unable to deal with the animal's death (she had helped raise it from a calf) she became quite distraught when her mother served tea. Dishes, food and flatware began vibrating then started flying around the kitchen causing anyone to flee the room. Charity ended up hiding under the table as she had no idea how to stop the causing the dishes to fly around. It wasn't until she passed out that the dishes stopped moving. This convinced her parents that something should be done if they didn't want the girls to harm themselves or others. So the Temperance and Charity were taken to a high level psychic where their abilities were tested.
Charity's psychic abilities lay in the telepathy and telekinesis. Unlike Temperance, Charity's telekinesis was stronger than her telepathy. She was taught how use mental shields as well as far as her talent let her. She was taught how to control her telekinesis, how to stop objects that started flying away because of her emotions and flinging objects at a point the way a person would toss a dart at a dartboard intent on hitting the bulls eye. She was partly relieved and partly annoyed when Temperance decided to run off. She felt it her duty to follow her twin.
They ended up joining an entertainment troupe. Where they learned all kinds of neat things. Like knife throwing and lightening customers purses in fun, unique and unnoticeable ways. They also learned how to con people out of their money. It was an interesting troupe if their mother had known what they were up to she would have been furious, though not really surprised. The bard's guild probably had nothing to do with them or even wanted anything to do with a group of entertaining con artists and thieves. Temperance and Charity learned a lot about cons: different setups, when to pry, when to leave and how long to stick to a con before changing. It was with the troupe that she learned about iron fans and how they made handy defense weapons and that they could be used as offensive weapons if the right kind of blades were attached. She learned from a master.
Since the troupe was made up of thieves and such it wasn't long before some questioned how much was actually made and compared it to how much they were paid. It turned out the leader of the troupe was scamming them all. This didn't sit well with the rest of the troupe, naturally. So the ones at the top questioned the leader and showed them what they had on him. Well he listened to them, since they had tied him up. But there were a few who were loyal to the charming though conniving leader and they rescued the leader, but not without killing a few of the other troupe members as a lesson to the remaining ones. Temperance and Charity didn't like how things were going so left the troupe as soon as they could.
The one thing they learned from that was that they were not nearly skilled enough in their psychic abilities. It occurred to Temperance that she and Charity might have fared better if they had studied harder, not that they would ever know. So they headed to Oceanica in hopes of finding a psyching who would continue their training. It took them longer than they thought it should so they supported themselves with the skills they had learned in the troupe. It was at this time that Temperance started going by the name of Bundle. The psychic did not think highly of their choice in careers, but didn't like the idea of untrained psychics even less. He pushed them hard and in three years they reached the end of the light purple level, but weren't quite able to reach the dark purple level. They probably would not have managed that if they had not applied themselves to the training. But this time they wanted to go as far as they could.
Thrilled and satisfied with their new skill level they began trying out new cons in Oceanica. One involved pretending to be fortunetellers. Bundle played the assistant while Tuppence played the "palm reader". To learn "read" minds or gather information Tuppence had to touch the person in question's hand so thus "palm reader". It was amazing how people just believed the stuff Tuppence told them half of which she made up from the info she gathered from the person.
A thief noticed them when they started their knife-throwing act. He had seen them around town doing various cons. The twins were not the least be happy when he confronted them. He found the two fascinating and it wasn't long before he showed them the art of picking locks and burglarizing apartments. The twins found they liked this and added it to their repertoire. He also improved their fighting skills.
When Oceanica was attacked they helped evacuate their family to a relative's place near Kiridia. They had hoped to reach Cascadia but have been having problems getting away from family.

Personality: Temperance has a fun mischievous side that comes in handy for a con artist. The life she has lead has made her cynical and is prone to mocking things or events with sarcasm. She is an out going person who has no trouble talking to people or becoming one of the crowd unlike her twin who is introverted. She loves life and having fun, doesn't want a normal job as that would be boring. She doesn't like working for someone preferring to be her own boss with the freedom to go where she pleases when she pleases, which has gotten her into trouble on occasion. Her father owns a dairy farm in a village near Oceanica. It wasn't until Temperance and Charity were two years old that anyone noticed they had psychic abilities. Their parents were not sure what to do about that. But they seemed okay, except for the occasional floating dish or toy. When they were four she blurted out her great aunt's feelings and thoughts on the twenty-four-year old gardener at the dinner table one night. (The great-aunt had the hots for the gardener) This caused quite a scene at the table. Aunt Lucia was visiting at the time and started telling all the horror stories regarding psychics that she knew. This didn't help the situation any.
The family learned to be more careful around the twins after that. Life went on. At the age of ten, Temperance found this ability to hear thoughts a handy thing when one wanted to learn secret. The problem was it was difficult to tune in to the separate thoughts and it mostly hit or miss until she reached puberty. Her and Charity's eleventh birthday part was a memorable experience. For the first time in her life Temperance heard everything everyone in the house. She found the thoughts and minds of her family and friends overwhelming and chaotic and began screaming at them all to shut up. She didn't realize she was screaming at them telepathically and vocally. Charity had her own problems that day. This convinced her parents that something should be done if they didn't want the girls to harm themselves or others. So the Temperance and Charity were taken to a high level psychic where their abilities were tested.
Temperance had abilities in telepathy and telekinesis; her telepathy was stronger than her telekinesis. She was taught how use mental shields and other nifty things about her abilities.
