Currency

Since Irotana is the most powerful and the head deity, the most commonly used coin must bear her name, at least in part. So she was given the base currency, the Tana.

The next highest bit of respect must go to the goddess that controls all earthly iems, as well as the metal with which the coins are forged. Consequently, Tyrea gets the 10 Tana coin, the Tyra.

Next, since heat and flame must be used to forge and mint these coins, the god of Fire got the third highest bit of respect. Claeryn gets the 20 Tana coin, the Clae.

Since water is used to cool the freshly forged coins, Laguar gets the next one. He has the 50 Tana coin, the Lagua.

Finally, since we don't want Aeryon to be P.O.ed at us for not including him, we give him the coin that is the fleetest to move and disappear, the 100 Tana coin: the Aera.

Also, for those tiny little exchanges of trades and services, there is the copper. It's value is 1/10 of a Tana.
