The Map

The entrance to the Patrolhall can be found just past the guard's main office, down a flight of stairs leading underground. The main room is sparsely decorated, with a few chairsset up for visitors. Against the back wall are bookshelves, and there is a desk in one corner with a plate of tacks on the corner. Doors to the left and right lead down reinforced earthen hallways lined with doors and the occasional magelight, while the door opposite the entrance leads into the Patrolmaster's spacious office.

The Patrolmaster's office is in an L shape, a large oaken desk situated in the corner. The walls are lined with bookshelves, and while there are many books on them, there are also several other assorted objects such as paperweights, trinkets, and the occasional souvenir from old Patrol jobs. A number of older, important files are smuggled away in here. The office has remained largely untouched since the first Patrolmaster's death; the current one uses it only on official business, preferring to keep his regular office for work.

Single offices are largely on the right from the main room, while partners often share the larger offices found to the left. Past them, there's a number of meeting rooms (M1 through M4) in various sizes used for a multitude of purposes. Both hallways circle around the clusters of offices and meet to ring the Patrol auditorium, capable of seating the entire Patrol at once. Official meetings are rare, but every now and then a Patroller or two will be using it for various reasons.

Past the offices are a variety of more specialized rooms, mainly either used for training purposes or for the development of tools used in the Patrol. They start past the single cluster office with the Safe room, containing a variety of locks and safes for apprentice practice, then the Cave, often used for combat or camouflage practice in a subterranean setting. Past that is the poisonmaster's lab, largely used by Venom , the Patrol's poison expert, although other Patrollers with the proper experience may utilize it as well. (But usually, it's easier to ask Venom.) Across the hall is the Happy Room, some Patroller's idea of a joke; it is cheerfully decorated with paintings, tasteful lamps, and fitting furniture, almost like a living room in the Patrolhall. It's connected to a small bathroom.

Past that is the Patrol's library, containing things from criminal case files to "500 ways to breach a hostile barricade" and other such classics. It's highly disorganized; the two librarians that take alternating shifts each have highly different ideas on how the library should be arranged, and consequently spend most of their shift undoing what the other did. Down the other hallway are two other specialized rooms; one is a small maze often used for combat practice, and the other, kept as far away from the offices as possible, is a magically reinforced room for testing and practicing with explosives.
