PBM: All things PBM and PBEM RPGs. There is a list of tons of RPGs including ShadowStar there.
RPG Index: A comprehensive index of over 6000 RPG and gaming links.

Elvish language: We base ShadowStar's ancient language on Tolkien's elvish, so this is one of the sites where you can translate words.
Elvish Name Generator: Just type in a name and it will translate it to "elvish"...good if you're stuck trying to figure out what to call a character.
Handbook to Roleplaying: An excellent guide to roleplaying. Definitely worth a look.
Roleplayer's Guide: An extensive site with lots of RPing resources.
Seventh Sanctum: A large variety of name generators, as well as other generators.
Redwall Compendium: A site (by Dani) based on Redwall, which has a lot of medieval facts that can be referenced, such as on weapons and ships.
